Peter Dolinšek was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. His passion for music led him to the art of singing at an early age. In 2013 he began his vocal training at the Vič-Rudnik Music School in Ljubljana under the guidance of Prof. Alenka Slokar Bajc. His talent was quickly recognized and he continued his studies at the MUK in Vienna, Austria, where he was taught by Dr. Michail Lanskoi and Prof. Akiko Nakajima. Since September 2022 he has been a student of KS Roland Schubert at the HMT Leipzig, where he continues to perfect his skills.

In 2022 he reached a significant milestone in his career by becoming a member of the soloist ensemble of the Leipzig Opera. Here he was given the opportunity to shine on stage and delight audiences with his powerful and expressive voice. In his first season at the Leipzig Opera he performed as Masetto in Mozart’s “Don Giovanni”, the Sacristan in Puccini’s “Tosca”, Hans in Lortzing’s “Undine” and Curio in Handel’s “Giulio Cesare in Egitto”.

During his singing career, Peter Dolinšek worked with several well-known conductors, including Matthias Foremny, Christoph Gedschold, Antonino Fogliani, Jonathan Darlington and Ruben Dubrovsky. This collaboration enabled him to deepen his musical understanding and further refine his artistic interpretation.
