New roles this season include Anne Frank in the concert performance of The Diary of Anne Frank, Nedda in Pagliacci, and Ruth Fischer in the world premiere of Rummelplatz, a commission from Oper Chemnitz by composer Ludger Vollmer.

Recent highlights include her debut as Freia in a new production of Wagner’s Das Rheingold at Stadttheater Klagenfurt and a guest appearance at Bühnen Bern as Gerhilde in Wagner’s Die Walküre. Since the 2023/24 season, she has been a member of the ensemble at Theater Chemnitz, where she has sung the title role in Charpentier’s Louise, the Mother (Hänsel und Gretel), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Venus (Orpheus in der Unterwelt), Indolenda (Die drei Wünsche), and the President (Der Tenor der Herzogin). She made her operatic debut in 2022 at the Semperoper Dresden as Sophie Scholl in Udo Zimmermann’s Weiße Rose.

On the concert and oratorio stage, Elisabeth Dopheide has appeared as a soloist in Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, and Palmeri’s Misa Tango. Her active concert career is documented in radio recordings for Deutschlandfunk and NDR.

She studied at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover with Prof. Gudrun Pelker and in the Lied class of Prof. Jan Philip Schulze. Masterclasses with Dagmar Schellenberger, Stefan Vinke, and Johannes Martin Kränzle further enriched her training.
