C\u2019est devenu un dominant (avec sa bande et ses hommes) \u00e0 l\u2019instar de Daland, et il r\u00e8gle ses comptes. Thomas J. Mayer a l\u2019art de montrer ce qu\u2019il y a entre les lignes, une certaine subtilit\u00e9, qui joue sur les doutes, \u2013 y compris ceux du spectateur face \u00e0 cette histoire nouvelle invent\u00e9e par Tcherniakov, et c\u2019est assez r\u00e9ussi, m\u00eame si l\u2019on peut pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer des Hollandais plus sonores ou plus spectaculaires.
